Vacation Bible School

July 28 & July 29

 

 The theme this year will be: “Workshop of Wonders- Imagine and Build with God.”

Back to School Shopping with the children of Tennyson Center:

August 16th

Volunteers will have the opportunity to shop with or shop for our residential kids to pick out an outfit for back to school.  Volunteers will need to be available on the August 16th at 6:30 am and will be done by 8am. God's Work, Our Hands Volunteer Sunday

September 7
We will gather on September 7th for a brief time of prayer before we head out into the world to be the church!  Child care & activities for youth will also be provided.  After serving, we will gather back at the church for lunch.  We will be ordering special T-shirts for that day with Highland's name on them.  Cost is $8. Give shirt size, cash, or check to Erin Power- Deadline for ordering is Sunday, August 3rd.

 

Highlands Hoedown

September 13

We will continue the tradition of having a harvest dinner and square dance to celebrate our church and to kick off our fall stewardship campaign. We will also have a Harvest Fest Auctionto benefit the Fellowship fund!

 

Rally Sunday

September 14th

A kick start to the church year and

 our ministries.  Contact Jake DeHamer with ideas.

September 25-27 - Women's Retreat : Please, sign up in the narthex if you are interested.  We need to know the number of participants in order to choose the location.

 

YOUTH ACTIVITIES

SKY RANCH SUMMER CAMP – AUGUST 2 - 8

The youth will be going for a week of outdoor adventures, bible study, worship, team building, crafts, new friendships, and service learning. Children grades 3 and up are welcome to attend.
